How do I register PDO?
You can use PDO for 14 days without registration though you will be able to create only 3 data pages per page template.
Registration is quick, easy and inexpensive. To Register:-

Go to www.pocketdatasytems.com

Click on the 'Purchase' button.
After the purchase you will receive an e-mail containing your unique Encryption Key & Release Code. This should arrive within a few minutes after purchase but at busy times you may have to wait a few hours.
Tap on 'Registration' from the 'Settings Menu'.
Enter the Encryption Key and Release Code in the fields provided.
Click the 'OK' button in the top right of the screen.

Please note all of PDO's data is encrypted but your own Encryption Key prevents other PDO users from getting hold of your data and reading it. You should not loose this key as you will need it if you need to reinstall PDO and you should never give it to anyone else.
How do I change the skin theme?
You can customize your PDO in a number of ways. To select which skin theme to use:-
Tap 'Settings' from the 'Tools Menu'
Choose the theme that you prefer from the 'Themes' pull-down list.
How do I change the cover?
You can customize your PDO in a number of ways. To select which cover to use:-
Tap 'Settings' from the 'Tools Menu'
Choose the cover that you prefer from the 'Cover' pull-down list.

You can even make your own cover from almost any digital image. To do this:-
Choose your image .. This can be a .bmp/.jpg/.gif
Crop it to fit .. the final image size should be 240 pixels wide by 268 pixels deep.
Copy it to your Pocket PC... You should copy the file into the PDO covers folder which is normally 'Program Files'->PDO->Covers.
Select it ... from the 'Covers' Pull-down list as described above.
I want to store my data on a Storage Card - how do I do it?
By default, PDO will store your data in the same place that it was installed to so it you chose to install PDO on the default device when you installed it the data will be stored in your Pocket PC main memory. This can be dangerous as it is possible to loose it all in the event that your battery goes flat or you need to do a hard reset. It is recommended that you store your data on a Storage Card if possible.

To get PDO to use the Storage Card:-
Tap on 'Settings' from the 'Tools Menu'
Choose where you would like to store your data from the 'Storage' pull-down list.
If you have more than 1 store card you can choose which card to use.

Click the 'OK' button from the top right of the window.
PDO will ask if you would like your data to be copied to the new location.
Choose Yes as appropriate.

Note: If you have reinstalled PDO after a hard reset but still have your data intact on the Storage Card PDO will detect this and ask you if you wish to overwrite your existing data. You should answer No to this question to prevent your data from being overwritten.
How do I add & remove pages from the page menu?
PDO contains a lot of Page Templates and you may find that you do not use some of them. You can configure which pages will appear on the 'Pages Menu' in the following way:-
From the 'Tools Menu' tap 'Settings'
Towards the bottom of the Settings window you will see two lists. The list on the left will show pages that are available but are not to be shown on the menu. The list on the right will show the pages that will appear on the menu.
To move a page from one list to the other:-

Tap on the page that you wish to move in either list tap either the '<' button or the '>' button to move it to the other side.
Click the 'Ok' button at the top right of the window to close the window and update the list.
How do I delete page records that I no longer want?
You can delete pages in two ways:-

From the Pages Menu:
Selected the Page Template that you wish to open from (i.e. Contacts) - from the 'Pages Menu'
Select the actual page from the pull-down list at the top of the page.


From the Page Index:
Open the section that contains the unwanted page by tapping on the + sign.
Highlight the page that you wish to delete by tapping on it.
Tap the 'Go To Page' button.
How do I add a new page record?
You can add pages in two ways:-

From the Pages Menu:
Selected the Page that you wish to add to (i.e. Contacts)
From the 'Edit Menu' tap 'New Page'


From the Page Index:
Highlight the section that will contain the new tapping on it.
Tap the 'New Page' button
How do I save a page record?
PDO will automatically save data when it needs to but you can force it to save immediately by tapping on the 'Save Page' option from the 'Edit Menu'
Is there a quick way of clearing all of the data from a field?
When you need to clear all of the data from a selected field the quick way to do it is simply to tap the 'Edit Menu' and then tap 'Clear'
Is there a quick way of clearing a whole line in a list?
When you are using a list such as the Task List there is a quick an easy way of clearing the data from the whole line.

From the 'List Menu' simply tap 'Clear Line'

How can I move a line up or down in a list?
  When you are using a list such as the Task List there is a quick an easy way of moving a line of data up or down:-

Tap on any field in the line that you wish to move.
From the 'List Menu' simply tap 'Move Line Up or Move Line Down'

Is there a quick way of checking/unchecking all items in a list?
  When you are using a list such as the Task List there is a quick an easy way of checking (or unchecking) all of the entries:-

From the 'List Menu' simply tap 'Check All' or 'Uncheck All'
